
David Cox
Mr. David Cox holds a Bachelors degree in Vocal Performance from Dallas Baptist University and a Masters Degree in Religious Education from Bethany Theological Seminary. Mr. Cox has been a choral director and voice teacher for many years. In those years he has seen students sing in operatic companies and stage musicals as well as continuing their vocal studies at the university level.
During his three years teaching voice at Permian he has enjoyed his time with students and aiding young voices to become fine musicians. He teaches students at Permian singing technique as well as repertoire for the All-State and Solo and Ensemble contests.
Mr. Cox lives in Odessa, Texas with his wife Nancy. Both of Mr. Cox's daughters teach choir including our very own Mrs. Burton!
